The Second Half

Some of the masterings completed during the second half of 2009. This post will be updated when more projects are officially announced.

A new EP from Montreal’s Caniche Hara-Kiri, available on iTunes.

For Hymen Records: Millipede’s first album All My Best Intentions; Defrag’s Lament Element; and more albums to be released in 2010.

On Ant-Zen: Ten years in the making, the new Imminent album, Cask Strength, available in a regular edition and a limited wooden box edition; Geneviéve Pasquier’s new album, Le Cabaret Moi (regular or limited edition including a booklet); and a few more abums to be announced later in 2010.

La Sierra Mecánica, a new album of Tonal Y Nagual, available on Confusibombus.

A 3″ CD of Montreal’s duo Minibloc, for the exhibition Le son a des oreilles, commissioned by Eric Mattson (Oral) .

The tenth full-length release of Calgary’s Tetrix, Tetrix 10, available on Odin Audio.

Parcelles 1-10, a new album of Mathias Delplanque, to be released on his new label Bruit Clair. First opus of a series of 3, Parcelles 1-10 is the sequel of Mathias Delplanque’s album Le Pavillon Témoin, released in 2007 on Low Impedance.

For Ambiances Magnétiques: Klaxon Gueule (Michel F. Côté, Bernard Falaise, Alexandre St-Onge) new album Infininiment; Bernard Falaise/Frank Martel CD L’école du ara; and Shaman, from the duo Nous perçons les oreilles (Joane Hétu, Jean Derome).

On Crunch Pod: A new C/A/T EP, We are Still Alive; and Bitch Brigade’s debut album Dendrite.

For Oral, an album (plus a limited edition with a second CD) of a project TBA, and one track for a 7″ TBA.

Tympanik Audio’s new compilation, Emerging Organisms 3 — two discs available now, celebrating the 3rd year of existence of the label.

An EP for the band Botanical Bullets. The Maha Menace is now available as a free download from their MySpace page.

An album of the Greek hip-hop band Taraxias. Available on Lyra Records.

A 7″ of Crackpuncher (aka Keef Baker) and an EP of Siamese Royalty (aka Cdatakill). Both releases TBA.

Impurfekt’s remix collection is entitled Repurfekt, and is available in a limited CD edtion. Details on MySpace.
